bronte. nothing more, nothing less.

things that are not mine, but collectively, are my life.
i spy.

i spy.

There’s been a family I’ve been spending some time with here in India who do prison outreach/missions. They visit a prison regularly, where some women are held for crimes they may not have even committed, or were never given a fair trial. Some women also have their young children living in the prison with them. This couple feel so strongly and passionately about serving these women. They have managed to get special permission to enter this prison and bring supplies to make paper beads and embroidery projects. In return, they are not only receiving something positive to focus their energy on (something both prisoners and prison staff members are excited about), but also a small wage to buy things like shampoo and soap, supplies needed for their children, or money to send to their families outside the prison, as they have little income due to incarceration. Right now, the woman running the project has spent all of her life savings on this project.. I would love to see her be able to fund this project through purchases and donations instead! If there are any items here you would like, I can bring them back to the States and you can give me the money, which will go directly to this project. (Donations are welcomed and encouraged!)http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3363704606688.153774.1091280021&type=1&l=ae823479ad
